George “Buster” Astle 1928 – 2005

Formerly of Chatham, George “Buster” Astle passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2005 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital.
He was a former employee of the Bathurst Power and Paper Ltd. and retired with Stone Consolidated as superintendent of the Steam Plant.
Buster was very active in Municipal Politics and was well known as the City Council Watchdog.
Buster was a valued and dedicated cruisader for the Anglo Society Gloucester Branch and he will be greatly missed.
